In order to use the Algbra app, we need to verify your identity in line with financial services regulations commonly referred to as ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD). This enables us to protect the integrity of Algbra’s community and provide a secure service for all of our customers.
When you apply for an account, you'll be asked to take a picture of a valid form of government-issued photo ID to open your account, so please have this handy when applying. This needs to be in date and we can only use the original document for verification.
We may also require a proof of address if we have trouble verifying the one you provide, but we'll let you know what we need if that's the case.
